Characteristics:

  • geographical dispersion among two or more locations,
  • possibility to provide DRC services in the facilities within the distance of a few hundred kilometres from one another.

  • monitoring and reporting changes’ course,
  • implementation of improvements of a room or centre.

Designing and leasing IT infrastructure and environments (IaaS/PaaS)

Characteristics:

  • one of the models of the cloud computing,
  • IT infrastructure (e.g. physical hardware managed by hypervisor virtualiser) provided in the service model (IaaS),
  • IT infrastructure + software (e.g. operational system, data basis, development environment, depending on the needs) (PaaS),
  • we are responsible to the level of the virtualiser (IaaS),
  • we are responsible to the level of the operational system (PaaS),
  • components: hardware + access medium (telco services) + configuration + licences.

  • combining IaaS / PaaS systems with other virtual systems (e.g. Cloud2B),
  • it may happen that part of the infrastructure must be physical, part virtual.

  • provision of virtualisation tool,
  • installation of operational system,
  • construction and design of the following networks LAN, SAN, vSAN,

Disaster Recovery Services

Characteristics:

  • design, implementation and maintenance of back up data transmission infrastructure in a service model,
  • back up environment in case of failure,
  • the basic environment may be both at the client’s and in the external centre,
  • may, but does not have to be a 1:1 copy of the basic environment. Is often limited only to critical processes of a company,
  • kept “asleep” till the moment of a failure/catastrophe of the basic environment,
  • ready to start at any moment in order to take over “duties” of the basic infrastructure,
  • may be provided based on one or more DC facilities.

  • a possibility to propose additional services (additional monitoring, access control, monitoring of basic environment para metres etc.).
